Okay so lately I've been getting really excited about snow. It's so pretty and I feel that since we live in the north, there should be a lot more of it..lol. But there isnt. Yesterday Scott got home and we ran some errands. While we were out, you could actually see grass. :/ We got back home and I started baking then all of a sudden we hear the girls screaming that it's snowing outside!! YAY RIGHT?! It snowed hard for about 10 minutes. BUMMER!!
So back to the baking part, I've been on a "I'm going to conquer the bread a thon" lately. I'm not sure about anyone else but Golden Corral's yeast rolls are the best! When we go there I cant seem to get enough! So I made an imitation of them yesterday and after a long evening, they came out!! I didnt burn them and everytime they would rise, I would get so excited! You would have thought the girls learned to read or I got a new SUV! I was so happy! So I finally conquered the rolls baking. They need to be a little more moist but they turned out perfect since I've been trying out the bread/rolls baking atleast 3 times now. I've been bound and determined I'm going to back my own bread and rolls. Save money on bread since up here it's not cheap. Now it's time to conquer the actual bread. Eventually... :)
The girls are growing up so fast and becoming very independent which makes me a little sad. They will always be our babies and if I could stop them from growing I would. They are doing good. I think we're going to get outside and have some fun today. I've got to get my chores done first!! :)
